“We never thought about whether it was a hit or not. We just wrote songs.” – added Rastorguev.
He attributed the success of the composition to a good and catchy chorus.
“We were already moving towards popularity, but this Christmas broadcast spurred us on. Sooner or later it would have happened, we would have soared to the top, because there was a very unusual sound compared to what was heard on the stage,” – said the leader of “Lube”.
He drew attention to the fact that the songs from the first album were good, and the record itself, according to the lead singer, was very successful.
“You could say it all started with this song. It was recorded at the most powerful studio at that time in MDM. And after recording it, I heard from the guys at the studio: “You wrote a really great song.” It really stood out from general row”, – noted the poet Alexander Shaganov.
The leader of the Kalinov Bridge group, Dmitry Revyakin, said that the group worked on the tribute with enthusiasm. Initially, a different song was chosen for the tribute, but later the musicians still chose “Don’t ruin it, guys.”
“When the first album of the Lyube group was first released, it seemed very solid, harmonious and original to us, and we remembered many of the songs from this album,” – Revyakin noted.
