Nutritionist Polyakov named mushrooms that prevent the development of cancer

Endocrinologist-nutritionist Anton Polyakov told which mushrooms prevent the development of oncology.

“Only Chinese mushrooms have anti-cancer properties due to the presence of beta-glucans (natural immunostimulants). At their core, they are complex fibrous-type sugars found in mushrooms, oat bran, fiber, yeast,” he said in an interview with Evening Moscow.

The list of cancer-preventing mushrooms includes: shiitake, meitake, lingzhi and reishi. For the prevention of the disease, it is enough to consume 1-2 grams of these mushrooms per day, with a disease, the therapeutic dose is 5-6 grams per day. According to the doctor, eating a large amount of beta-glucans helps the immune system more easily destroy cancer cells, since beta-glucans create micropores in them.

“In the human body, there are 1-2 mutants per million ordinary cells that can become oncocells. The task of the immune system is to prevent this process,” Polyakov added.

Previously, nutritionist Pisareva listed foods that are unhealthy to eat for breakfast. These include instant cereals and cereals, pastries, fruits, fatty meats.
