In Ukraine, they began to sell one-day tours to cities destroyed by militants. Foreigners are promised walks among the ruins and burned-out military equipment under the howl of air raid sirens. Thrill-seekers will be able to properly tickle their nerves – after all, there are many unexploded mines left in the places of hostilities. Read about how Kyiv builds a tourism business on the bones in the material REN TV.

Walks in Bucha

The Visit Ukraine online platform has launched one-day tours of cities destroyed by militants during the Ukrainian conflict. Tourists are offered to visit Kharkov, Chernihiv, Irpen, Kyiv. Even Bucha got on the list, about the tragedy in which the whole world knows.

Tours last about 3-4 hours. You can go on a tour with a group of up to 10 people or individually by ordering a car on the website. And they offer 50 euros to pay for such a trip.

Guides profiting from human grief have already sold 150 tickets, 15 of which were purchased by the Americans. The site provides a detailed description of each tour, photos of cities and even reasons why they are worth seeing. They want to attract as many customers as possible – the site is translated into English, Russian and German.

Ready for anything for profit

“Will everything be fine if I take my children with me? They are 10 and 13 years old and they are looking forward to this trip,” – the journalist writes under the guise of an interested client.

“Yes, you can take your children with you. But for your own safety, we do not currently organize tours to Kharkiv and Nikolaev”, – calmly answered in the travel agency.

Business on the bones

The scandalous site existed before, but was not particularly popular. Prior to the start of the special operation, the tour operator organized regular excursions, offering “to go on a journey through stunning Ukraine.” Habitual tours around Lviv, rich in architecture, or the “pearl of the sea” Odessa, have remained on the site to this day.

But attendance took off precisely after the cynical travel agents began to conduct tours of the ruins that the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine left behind. The dice business brought the tour operator unprecedented popularity – the company’s website has already been visited by millions of users.
