Robots and “red giant” surprised the guests of the forum “Army-2022”

The second day of the international forum “Army-2022” starts today in the “Patriot” park near Moscow. Experts from various fields and representatives of the world’s largest companies will be able to look at the latest developments of the military-industrial complex. And our country has something to surprise. Russian engineers presented unique developments in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence. Correspondent”Izvestia” Kirill Vorobyov got acquainted with some of the new products.

This robot dog gathered hundreds of spectators around him. But to warn that this is an angry dog ​​is definitely not necessary. He has an anti-tank grenade launcher on his back. And inside there are dozens of different sensors.

“Thermal imagers, it has cameras, motion sensors, it can operate at a distance of up to 30 km,” – said Alexey Aristov, director of JSC Intellect Machines.

The creators of the four-legged drone are preparing to replace the remaining imported parts with Russian ones. And at another stand they are already showing a 100% domestic medical novelty.

On a Russian robot patient, you can work out different scenarios. They are set in special computer programs of domestic development. For example, the task was set to reanimate, to conduct a heart massage. Everything is displayed on the screen and you can track how well the procedure was carried out.

There are thousands of our developments on the forum. For example, the first Russian battery that survives even at critically low temperatures, for example, in space. And nearby flaunts a powerful unmanned boat.

“He doesn’t need a connection, they sent him on a mission, and that’s it. They set the route and forgot! He completes the task, and we are sitting. Everything is safe. Even if he is destroyed, then nothing is a robot”– explains Alexey Maistro, Director of the Center for Technological Projects.

Simulators and “fire” giants

Nearby are dozens of new simulators. On one of them you can experience a free fall, simulating a parachute jump. And in the cockpit of the T-90 MS, they practice much more serious skills.

Everything here is done just like in a real car. Saved even the distance between each element. So that those who hone their skills can fully adapt and get used to real working conditions. Here you can perform tasks to train the gunner and commander of the fighting compartment.

More and more on the forum and civilian novelties. It is simply unrealistic not to notice the red giant, in the near future it will go to fight forest fires. The Russian Emergencies Ministry presented the latest fire fighting complex.

Radio monitoring complex

And yet the main direction of the forum is military developments. The radio monitoring machine is a super-secret complex, which is openly shown for the first time. And you can’t give out all the secrets, an export version with a more modest filling is presented.

The indoor unit of the mobile radio monitoring station can accommodate four operators at the same time. The main advantage of the complex is that it takes only 15 minutes to start working at any point, to receive and process a signal. And the huge range reaches 2.5 thousand kilometers.

“He can see this signal, listen, decipher and receive letters”– Andrey Bobovsky, an engineer at the Vektor Research Institute, explains.

Foreigners, of course, are interested. Delegations from more than 70 countries came to see the most advanced models of weapons, military and special equipment. The developers are preparing to sign multibillion-dollar contracts.
