Bacon can pose a serious risk to individuals suffering from cardiovascular and digestive disorders. Also, this product should not be used by patients with diseases of the excretory system, she said in an interview with Ura.ru nutritionist, nutritionist Irina Pisareva.

She drew attention to the fact that a product popular with Russians contains a large amount of salts that retain water in the body.

“This can disrupt not only the water-salt balance, but also lead to edema. Also, such products should not be used by those who have diseases of the kidneys and other organs of the excretory system,” – said the specialist.

A week, as the nutritionist added, it is recommended to consume no more than 100 grams of bacon.

Also, frequent use of bacon can threaten the risk of developing oncology, since this product contains a lot of preservatives, which, when fried, release carcinogens. All this, as Pisareva explained, threatens with excessive use of problems with the stomach and intestines.

“Therefore, bacon is contraindicated for men, women and children who suffer from heart and digestive diseases,” concluded the nutritionist.

Previously, a nutritionist said that bananas can disrupt the functioning of the heart muscle.
