The massacre of the 95-year-old front-line soldier was committed by a “pension hunter”

In Bashkiria, a suspect in the murder of 95-year-old veteran of the Great Patriotic War Rafais Muslukhov was arrested. Behind bars was his neighbor, from whom the investigators tried for a very long time to get what was the motive for the massacre. After all, the friends had known each other for a long time, they spent a lot of time together and there were no conflicts between them. What did the suspect say during the first interrogation?

Massacre of a Veteran

The small village of Kadyrovo is unusually noisy and crowded. Everywhere there are official cars of investigators and police officers, the district policeman goes around one house after another – interrogates the residents in the hope of finding out the details of the tragedy. A local recidivist beat to death a 95-year-old pensioner – a veteran of the Great Patriotic War.

“A suspect has been identified. He turned out to be a 63-year-old previously convicted resident of the same village. He is currently detained. Initial investigative actions are being carried out,” – said Evgeny Kanevsky, senior assistant to the head of the Investigative Committee of the TFR for the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The house where grandfather lived is cordoned off. Inside, criminologists are studying the scene of the incident, collecting evidence, despite the fact that the alleged criminal has already told how he killed the front-line soldier. Allegedly, he attacked the veteran because of eight thousand rubles. The suspect asked the pensioner for a loan, but he refused. Then the guest decided to take the money by force. And then he just walked away like nothing happened. What happened that evening became clear after a neighbor could not get through to the pensioner.

“I called him, but he didn’t pick up the phone. Then I think, he’s the core, maybe something happened? I went and looked, and he was lying near the porch. There was a lot of blood on his head,” – recalls Ramziya Usainova, a neighbor of Muslukhov.

Rafais Muslukhov – hero and order bearer

The deceased Rafais Muslukhov knew and loved everyone here. The pensioner’s house was called a museum, and the owner himself was called a hero. Veteran of the Great Patriotic War, order bearer. Village pride. He went to the front in 1944 – in fact, as a child. Then he was only 17 years old. He rose to the rank of senior lieutenant, and then changed his military life to civilian life. He worked as the chairman of the collective farm, the director and head teacher of the school, the construction of which at one time he supervised personally. He was considered one of the main activists of the region. Even at the age of 95, Muslukhov came to meetings with schoolchildren and participated in events dedicated to the great Victory.

“It is a great honor for me that the administration devotes time to me and always invites me to big holidays, Sabantu, schools. I hope we will see each other as often as now”– said the front-line soldier.

Recently, Rafais Muslukhov complained about his heart and tried not to leave the house more than once. Neighbors and relatives helped the pensioner in every way, tried to visit as often as possible.

“Together we drank tea, talked together. When he left, he said:” It’s good that you are here. I talked well with you. “He said that his soul felt better,” – says a relative of the veteran Gulnara Davletova.

Retirement Hunter

The fact that the killer is one of the locals, neighbors and relatives guessed right away. Firstly, four former inmates live in the village, and secondly, the veteran received a good pension, kept the money in cash at home, and all the villagers knew about it.

“I received about 50 thousand, the postman brings the pension on the 16th”, – they say in the village.

The killer was well aware of this, and therefore came to his grandfather exactly after the payday. Now he will get a real term. And the village where the veteran lived is mourning today – the inhabitants are seeing off Rafais Muslukhov on his last journey.
