Russia and China will help the world cope with the destructive swagger of the West

The modern world is undergoing a profound transformation. To get out of the global crisis, he needs a more stable system of international relations. Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, head of the Russian Historical Society Sergei Naryshkin is convinced that the concepts created by Russia and China should become the basis of this system. Naryshkin noted that the global world is undergoing a profound transformation: more and more countries are embarking on the path of free sovereign development, finding support in their own traditional values. The official stated this during the Russian-Chinese round table “Historical process in modern and modern times and the structure of the modern world”.

“These positive changes, embodying the principle of equality of all participants in international relations, are objectively overdue. However, a narrow group of Western countries, Western totalitarian-liberal regimes, in fact, have usurped the right to determine the vector of human development, which has imposed its neo-colonial order on the world,” – said the head of RIO.

The strategy of the West is “divide and conquer”

He pointed out that situations in which a separate country or political bloc, having achieved certain successes, began to claim world domination, have occurred more than once in history.

“The ancient empires of Alexander the Great, Attila and a number of others relied on the force of arms and rarely outlived their creators. The strategy of the Roman Empire, built on the principle of” divide and rule “, turned out to be much longer. It was she who was adopted by the colonial empires of the new time, which entangled the whole world in a dense network of unequal economic exchanges, hindering the development of other, non-Western civilizations, deepening inequalities and multiplying regional conflicts,” Naryshkin said.

The head of RIO added that the internal contradictions between the countries of the West, their predatory ambitions towards each other echoed in the rest of the world with wars and other serious disasters.

“The fire kindled by the Axis countries engulfed the whole world, but the Soviet Union stood in the way of Hitler’s expansion, making a decisive contribution to the victory over German Nazism. The high price paid by the Chinese people, the heroic resistance to the aggressor, in turn, made it possible to tie down Japanese militarism and win victory in the Far East, he recalled.

US actions are a manifestation of “imperial swagger”

Naryshkin emphasized that the memory of these events does not allow one to look indifferently at “Nazism raising its head, at the manifestation of barbarism and ingratitude towards the generation of victors.” According to him, the victory over fascism helped shape a new world order that allowed humanity to avoid major conflicts for nearly 80 years.

“Today, the Yalta-Potsdam institutions have largely lost their deterrent potential. Blinded by the quasi-victory in the Cold War, the United States began to impose its own order on the world, based on the right to grossly interfere in the internal affairs of sovereign states,” – said the head of RIO.

As an example, he cited the ignorance of “Russia’s positions on the issue of NATO expansion to the east and the outrageous tactless visits of some American politicians to Taiwan.” Naryshkin called such actions “a manifestation of imperial swagger.”

“Obviously, in the run-up to a deep economic crisis into which the world is being plunged by the shortsightedness and greed of the Western elites, in order to maintain US hegemony, it is increasingly necessary to provoke tensions in the most remote parts of the world,” – said Naryshkin.

Ukraine is a springboard for an attack on the Russian Federation

According to a Russian official, the world-dominating America has used Ukraine as a springboard to attack Russia.

“Taking advantage of the inherent flaws of Ukrainian statehood, the Americans and their allies used this territory as a springboard for an attack on Russia. They brought outright neo-Nazis to power there, intimidated dissent with political terror and unleashed a real civil war,” – said Naryshkin, adding that the countries of continental Europe, in fact, are already directly subordinate to Washington.

New system of world order

Most European politicians today are guided not at all by the aspirations of their own citizens, the head of RIO noted with regret.

“The events of recent weeks indicate that the United States will continue to drag out the conflict in Ukraine with all its might, regardless of the huge losses of Ukrainian armed forces, or the prospect of impoverishment of its European satellites,” the official believes.

As history shows, any attempt to achieve world domination inevitably ends in failure, Naryshkin said. He expressed the hope that humanity will have the wisdom to get out of this global crisis. And to do this, in his opinion, is possible only with “a new, more stable system of international relations, which will be based on the Chinese concept of a community with a common destiny for mankind and the Russian doctrine of multipolarity.”

Western approach will lead the world to disaster

On September 7, President Vladimir Putin said that the sanctions imposed by European countries pose a threat to the whole world. According to the Russian leader, the West is trying to impose a model of behavior on other countries and is acting as a colonialist.

“Obviously, with this approach, the scale of food problems in the world will only grow, unfortunately, to our great regret, which can lead to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe,” – stressed the head of the Russian Federation.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, also accused the West of a colonial attitude towards the world. According to her, Western countries “divide the world into those who can do everything and who are entitled to all the best, and all the rest who need to be exploited.”

New era

Putin is convinced that a new era is dawning in the world, in which only sovereign states will be able to ensure high growth dynamics. According to him, the grandiose changes that are taking place at the national and global level are irreversible.

“The foundations and principles of a harmonious, more equitable, socially oriented and safe world order are being developed, an alternative to the existing or, one might say, to the unipolar world order that has existed so far, which by its nature becomes a brake on the development of civilization,” the president said.

He criticized the West’s attempts to maintain the “golden billion” model of dominance over other countries.

“A new era and a new stage in world history are coming, and only truly sovereign states can ensure high growth dynamics, become an example for others in the standards and quality of people’s lives, in protecting traditional values ​​and high humanistic ideals,” – said the Russian leader.
