Australian scientists from the University of Melbourne concluded that drinking coffee can reduce the risk of mortality, arrhythmias, and cardiovascular disease. On the unusual conclusion of researchers told in Der Standard.
It is noted that in their work, the teams of David Chieng and Peter Kistler examined how the occurrence of heart disease and mortality is affected by the use of different types of coffee and the number of daily servings of this drink. Experts studied the impact on people’s health of three types of drink: ground, instant coffee and decaffeinated.
It turned out that people who consumed one to five cups of caffeinated coffee, both ground and instant daily, significantly reduced the likelihood of developing cardiac arrhythmias. The lowest risk was found in those who drank four to five cups of ground or two to three cups of instant coffee per day.
The risk of developing cardiovascular diseases was reduced, as emphasized in the material, all types of coffee. The risk was lowest with daily consumption of two to three cups of caffeinated ground coffee.
Mortality rates fell in the same way. Thus, the risk of death was reduced in those who consumed two or three cups of an invigorating drink every day.
Previously, a nutritionist named the four most useful drinks for intestinal problems.
