Muscovites advised to wear masks in public places

Moscow residents were advised to wear medical masks in public places due to the increase in the incidence of SARS and influenza. Message appeared on the site Department of Rospotrebnadzor in the capital.

“During the rise in the incidence of influenza and SARS, it is recommended to wear masks in public places and maintain social distance to prevent the incidence,” — said in the message.

Citizens were also advised to wash their hands more often and treat with antiseptics.

In addition, the department reported that the flows of healthy and sick citizens were specially separated in polyclinics. It is also noted that in Moscow, since the beginning of the epidemiological season, not a single educational organization has been completely closed.

Earlier it was reported that the number of cases of infection with SARS and influenza in Russia over the past week increased by 15.8 percent. At the same time, influenza viruses are currently the most common. Their share is almost 70 percent.
