There are five ways to safely return to work after the New Year holidays. Olesya Tolstukhina, a psychologist at the Doctor Nearby medical company, listed them in an interview with Izvestia.

First of all, according to her, you need to monitor your sleep schedule and not knock down the regime with night activities. In the early days of the holidays, it is best to sleep well.

It will not be superfluous to eat healthy food. In order not to overload your body, you need to avoid overeating.

“Cognitive functions are high-level brain processes; in a state of physical overload, the psyche minimizes thinking, since there are simply not enough resources for it”– explained the psychologist.

Alcohol on holidays should be consumed in moderation, as alcohol destabilizes both the body and the nervous system. Instead, make time for physical activity outdoors.

“Having had fun at will and switching to a mode of caring for yourself, you will have the opportunity to go to work with a positive attitude.
