The doctor clarified that vitamin D is synthesized in the body naturally under the influence of the sun and when eating.

“It is responsible for the regulation of mineral metabolism in the body and the maintenance of the immune system, it is necessary for the health and growth of bones, the functioning of the cardiovascular system, the reduction of inflammation, the functioning of the thyroid gland and normal blood clotting. According to her, most people face a shortage of this substance. And vitamin D is very difficult to obtain even in the minimum allowable amount.

The main symptoms of a lack of this vitamin are: fatigue, depression, weak immunity, excess weight, brittle hair and nails, excessive sweating, sleep problems. Also markers are frequent mood swings, muscle weakness and fatigue.

Savelieva advised every day at least 15-30 minutes a day to be in the sun, as well as to eat more foods rich in vitamin D.

“A rich source of vitamin D are dairy products, mushrooms, fatty fish, beef liver, egg yolks. If you can adjust the diet yourself, then you need to take vitamin D strictly after consulting a doctor. He will diagnose and give recommendations on taking the drug”she said.
