The incidence of influenza and ARVI increased by 6.5% per week

The number of cases of influenza and ARVI increased by 6.5% over the past week, such data published in its Telegram channel Rospotrebnadzor. Morbidity rates have already been exceeded in 41 regions of the country.

The situation is only getting worse every week. But the incidence of coronavirus decreased by 11.5% compared to last week, 94 thousand cases were recorded.

Rospotrebnadzor noted that there are no plans to introduce a mandatory mask regime or other similar restrictions in the country during the New Year holidays and holidays. The head of the department, Anna Popova, called on Russians to follow preventive measures: use medical masks, antiseptics, wash their hands more often after walking and disinfect gadgets.

“In the regions of Russia, immunization of the population against influenza is being completed. In total, almost 78 million people have been vaccinated“, Popova said.

Earlier, the therapist talked about a mistake that people with ARVI often make.
