Meta has quietly embarked on an organizational restructuring in 2022, leaving several executives and high-profile leaders.

Angelidoo-Smith joined the company in 2014 and served as head of monetization for the Facebook app for five years. She later became the VP of Product and was responsible for the app’s popular feature, Communities.
Meta has been quietly planning reorganizations and layoffs since late summer 2022, but the Facebook app has not been spared. Angelidoo-Smith left Meta in September 2022 and took the CTO position at HR software company Personio in November of the same year.
