oasis of mankind

We have an epidemic of dynamics that is not sustainable for any one person. I mean the constant change in our way of life as a result of the instability of work, the loss of schooling in subjects that will not be useful in the future, people dedicated to the cause, left without them, or others who, defending themselves against injustice, commit others out of resentment.

How much we have advanced in science, technology and the emergence of new views on what needs to be done to be good people. We are approaching the point of our own destruction, either through misunderstood rivalry with our neighbor, and not through the growth of each individual.

What’s the matter? Well, the answer is that you probably missed the most important thing. Learn to think well. Because no matter how hard we try with all the master’s degrees, doctoral degrees and certificates we can get, we are always on the brink of a precipice. Be it a war, a pandemic, a human tragedy, a natural disaster, and thousands of things that happen to us in the 21st century just like they did thousands of years ago, with the only difference being that today we have the knowledge that they were supposed to prevent many of these disasters, not controlling the natural, but knowing how to act.

So basically there is only one way to understand each other. This is called logical thinking, and therefore we must be very careful about what we have discarded.

The most important example is that of several world universities that are at the forefront of knowledge. I mean all those who demand philosophical thought, such as the thoughts of Socrates, Plato or Aristotle.

The thought of Socrates put on the table the idea that we must understand that we do not know everything, that we are ignorant of many things and that we need other people to build a balanced world, that is, to define things or knowledge together. For his part, Plato, who was a student of Socrates, gives us another fundamental part, questioning and classifying thousands of ideas in order to arrive at the truth. Finally, Aristotle offers a method of correct thinking, it is called logic.

This is explained as follows: if we think we know everything, we will not want to learn or accept other ideas. By not accepting other ideas, we are opposed to other people and their thoughts. Which is not logical and not the best way to solve problems. To sum up this structure of thought in the modern age, I will formulate it as follows:

There are now thousands of courses, universities, technologies and people claiming to develop total knowledge. This phenomenon is known as EGO. Therefore, the need to win is instilled, not to learn. Now that everyone has absolute truth, there is no way to compare and build. Therefore, thousands of disasters in medical operations, scientific advances and a better world. We have vivid examples, because everyone thinks they own the truth, we are destabilizing the world. We can talk about a war in Europe that is spreading to other regions.

Contrary to the above, following the philosophical thinking method of putting ego competition aside, several COVID vaccines have been formulated through knowledge sharing.

The type of thought advanced by these philosophers is what is required to understand and protect the most valuable human beings, their stability and diversity on one planet. Probably, having not learned to think well, several decades prevent us from entering the common path.

Of course, people should be willing to share, but apparently this change is not in our DNA, which of course punishes us in ways we didn’t expect.

Suppose that we are the masters of the world, this is a consequence of the fact that we do not follow the principles of logical thinking.

Thus, we have a world on the brink of several senseless wars, an epidemic of stress, suffering, pills that treat only the symptoms and not the cause of the disease, ideas without prerequisites and necessity, obsolescence in a split second. second, jobs, people to get to a one-time dump.

Therefore, under an environment where there are human rights, environmental rights, rights to protect children, rights towards people with disabilities, animal rights. We have no chance, because the above only means that every day there is more aggression, and that we need more rights, because elementary respect has been lost.

Our duty as human beings was to learn, share and live. But I think the most important lesson is that, as Thomas Hobbes said, “Man will be the wolf of man” and, frankly, this applies to women and different people.
