Staff change: Deputy Interior Ministers resign, – media

According to journalists, five officials wrote their resignations.

Deputy Heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Bondarenko, Kateryna Pavlichenko, Bogdan Drapyaty, Mary Akopyan and Serhiy Goncharov resigned. This was announced by a spokesperson for Minister Maryana Reva in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.

Maryana Reva noted that the dismissal of ministers is a well-established legal procedure enshrined in Article 9 of the Law “On Central Executive Authorities” of Ukraine.

  • Igor Bondarenko was responsible for the digital transformation of the services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Between 1999 and 2018, he served as the Head of the IT Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Recall that on February 7, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada during the voting approved the candidacy of Igor Klymenko for the post of head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. From 2019 to 2023, Klymenko served as the head of the National Police.
