At least 3.5 thousand cases of states with weapons in their hands are defending Ukraine on the front line. The Council of Ministers claims that the casualties among the authorities were serious.
Civil servants protect Ukraine not only in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also in the ranks of the entire security sector – in the National Guard, the Border Guard Service, the Security Service of Ukraine and other military formations. Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchinov said in the broadcast of the telethon on February 28.
He stressed that the casualties among the authorities were serious.
“There were 3,637 people in total at the end of the year (officers fighting on the front.). Unfortunately, by the end of the year, 108 officers were killed and 80 injured, the minister said.
He also added that more than 200 officials were counted missing.
Meanwhile, there is no strong enthusiasm among MPs. At the end of the year, Verkhovna Rada Spokesperson Stefanchuk said that since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, only two deputies have gone to the front.
A new investigation made public on January 30 by the Bihus.Info project says lawmakers and their families bought luxury cars for at least $1.3 million after the Russian Armed Forces’ all-out invasion.
Recall that in Ukraine they began to seek the service of men in limited form. Those who do not come to the military service branch for examination are fined, and failure to comply with calls to join the military will result in criminal liability.
Meanwhile, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine proposes to ban the sending of mobilized persons without military experience to the war zone.
Also in the Rada, approaches to passing medical examinations in military registration and enlistment offices were considered obsolete. Fyodor Venislavsky, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security Issues, called them “stupid with all kinds of nonsense”.
