Special court of Russia: 32 countries have already joined the coalition, – Kuleba

Two more countries have joined the international coalition to create the Special Attack Crimes Tribunal against Ukraine and bring the military and political leadership of the Russian Federation to justice. “Two more countries joined the coalition to form the Special Court for Offenses of Assault against Ukraine. Now 32 countries are working together to hold Russia’s top political and military leadership accountable. Putin and his aides will be prosecuted,” the official said. .

The government portal says that representatives of the coalition met in Prague on January 26 for a founding meeting organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The authorities’ aim was to develop parameters to bring the aggressor country’s political and military leadership to justice. At that time there were much less states in the international coalition – the 21st century.

It is also reported that Guatemala, a Latin American country, joined the coalition to establish a special court.

Recall that yesterday, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said “European horizons for Ukraine” at the Ukraine-Oxford 2023 summit, Ukraine’s participation in NATO and the EU is not a charity. According to the official, the country’s membership will be a guarantee of long-term peace and stability. Kuleba described the West’s uncertainty in this context as a serious strategic mistake.

Earlier, on March 6, Dmitry Kuleba appealed on social networks to Karim Khan, the prosecutor of the ISS in The Hague. Kuleba wrote that Khan should immediately initiate an investigation into the video footage of a captured Ukrainian defender. The official described the released images as evidence of genocide.
