“Help our enemies”: Medvedev threatened South Korea to cooperate with the DPRK because of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

According to the former Russian president, he was embarrassed by the change in the rhetoric of the South Korean president, because until recently the state announced a clear position, which did not provide military supplies to Kiev.

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has decided to raise his voice that South Korea can begin to provide military assistance to Ukraine. He wrote this on his Telegram channel on April 19th.

According to him, there are new “who want to help our enemies”, namely Ukraine. This is a new statement made in Seoul. Most of all, the Russian politician was embarrassed by the fact that until recently South Korea had guaranteed the Ukrainian army the complete exclusion of the supply of lethal weapons, and now President Yun Seok-yeol has said the opposite.

In this regard, a senior partner of Vladimir Putin threatened Seoul to expand cooperation with North Korea.

“I wonder what the people of this country will say when they see the latest Russian weapons from their closest neighbors – our partners in North Korea -? Quid pro quo …” the message reads.

Recall that on April 19, South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol said that the country could soon change its stance on military supplies to Ukraine and take such a step for the first time. However, there is one condition.

“If a situation arises that is unacceptable to the international community, such as a large-scale attack on civilians, massacres, or serious violations of the laws of war, it may be difficult for us to insist on just humanitarian or financial support. said the South Korean leader.

Previously, Seoul delivered only humanitarian and economic aid to Kiev.

On March 8, it was reported that the South Korean government had approved export licenses for Poland to supply Krab self-propelled guns, consisting of South Korean-made parts, to Ukraine.
