The European Parliament operates a liaison office for each member state, which assists the parliament and communicates with member states. This includes communicating with stakeholders, organizing events and engaging with local media.

The document notes that only a few European Parliament offices have been established in non-European cities such as New York, Jakarta and Addis Ababa, and that “parliamentary staff are assigned to the EU Delegation”. The EU delegation in each non-EU country is the community’s diplomatic representation in the region, under the leadership of the European External Action Service (EEAS).

The Bureau is the body of the European Parliament responsible for administrative decisions and the functioning of the institution. The European Parliament has a liaison office for each member state.

Euractiv’s mission and goals

Euractiv is an independent media network founded in 1999. It follows EU processes before making decisions. It is about the political processes on the eve of decision-making in the European Community and summarizes the issues without taking sides.

Let us remind you that in October it was learned that Ukrainian and Moldovan MPs could enter the European Parliament. According to European Parliament President Roberta Mezola, “Europe should open its doors wide” to Moldova and Ukraine, which are striving to join the EU.
