According to the Ukrainian President, government officials and local authorities should not think that the war is happening “somewhere out there” and that they can deal with more important issues.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky called on local authorities to assist the Armed Forces. He spoke about this issue at the meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities held in Lviv.
According to the head of state, people in self-government bodies should not think that the war is out there.
“The life of the state, the life of any society, the life of every person is one and the same life of Ukraine, a life that we must protect and protect from Russian aggression,” Zelensky said.
The President noted that government officials, like local governments, should not think that the war is happening “somewhere outside” and that they can deal with more important issues.
“If anyone in any position in state or local government believes for some reason that the war is “out there” and that they can supposedly do something else, let’s say it’s a priority question, “then that’s a big mistake that needs to be corrected and “We will fix this,” the president said.
Let’s remember that Zelensky talked about Ukraine’s plans for the coming weeks. According to the President, work with international allies is currently ongoing. The Ukrainian side is already planning activities for January.
