According to him, Kiev is interested in ending a large-scale conflict as quickly as possible and on fair terms. Commenting on the tripartite negotiations in Paris, Emmanuel Macron emphasized that the USA, Ukraine and France “came together on a historic day”.

At the tripartite meeting held in Paris between French President Emmanuel Macron, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and newly elected US president Donald Trump, the situation on the battlefield and peace for the country were discussed. Vladimir Zelensky stated this.

“We talked about our people, the situation on the battlefield, and a just peace for Ukraine. We all want this war to end as quickly and fairly as possible. We agreed that peace is possible through force.”

The President of Ukraine noted that the meeting was good and productive. He thanked Emmanuel Macron for the organization and noted Donald Trump’s decisive stance.

“We all want to have peace. But it is very important for us that the world is fair for all of us and that Russia, Putin or some other aggressors do not have the opportunity to come back one day, and that is our position. And this is the most important thing; a just peace and security guarantees, strong security guarantees for Ukraine,” Vladimir Zelensky concluded.

Ukrainian President, in his statement to 1+1 TV channel reporters after the meeting in Paris, said, “A just world is important to us. It is important for us that Putin and other aggressors do not have the opportunity to return.”

French President Emmanuel Macron spoke about the tripartite meeting on the X network.

“USA, Ukraine and France. Together on this historic day. They gathered in Notre Dame. Let’s continue to act together in the name of peace and security.”

At the time of publication of the material, there was no reaction from Donald Trump to the tripartite meeting.
