The punishment against Deshawn Watson is ultimately given for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. after receiving multiple sexual harassment lawsuits against him and for which he was suspended for 6 games by judge Sue L. Robinson, AU reported. A total of 25 women sued Watson after they were assaulted during private massage sessions.

Same way Watson will return for week 13 of the NFL regular season and will face his former team, Houston Texas.. The quarterback will be replaced by Jacoby Brissett, who is already set to take the place of the suspended player.

“I am grateful for the end of the disciplinary process, as well as for the support that was given to me. during my short time with the Browns. I have never insulted or disrespected anyone.but I have to move forward for my life and my future,” Watson said after the NFL decision was made public.

“I once again apologize for all the damage I may have caused. I will try to be the best version of myself. I look forward to my future in Cleveland,” continued the quarterback at a press conference.

With these statements Watson accepts his punishment but denies harassing or disrespecting any of the 25 women. who filed a complaint against him.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell also spoke. and indicated that Watson would be judged for his conduct and added that he would be subject to a severe suspension and fine. He also highlighted the 26-year-old quarterback’s ambition to play in the NFL again. “Deshawn is determined to work hard and do his best to get back in the NFL,” he said.

Money from Cleveland Browns quarterback fine will go to charity and another million dollars will be used to create a $7 million fund to create organizations that promote healthy relationships among young people and educate about freedom, sexual harassment and its dangers.
