Brazil striker Neymar will miss two matches of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar due to injury. This was announced by journalist Dani Gil, reports “Sport-Express”.

It is reported that due to an injury to his right ankle, Neymar will not take part in the game with Switzerland.

Also, according to Gil, Selecao head coach Tito is not going to release a star striker in the match with Cameroon, because he does not want to risk a recurrence of damage and counts on a striker in the playoffs.

Neymar was injured in a collision with Serbian defender Nikola Milenkovic. The football player burst into tears outside the field because of the risk of missing the remaining matches of the World Cup. However, as a result of the examination, the doctors concluded that the player had sprained his ankle and would be able to recover for the playoff games.

The day before, the Brazilian national team defeated Serbia thanks to two goals from Richarlison.
