Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, model and influencer Georgina Rodriguez have come under fire from the President of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria in Spain, Miguel Angel Revilla, for their “pornographic” lifestyle.
The politician took advantage of a television interview with La Sexta, where they discussed the latest economic decisions of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, who decided to abolish VAT (Value Added Tax) on the main products of the basket, to spin the issue with the latest luxurious gift that Cristiano Ronaldo received for Christmas, and criticized the lifestyle he leads with his partner.
“This is a moment when people feel very bad, from this side, what you showed there seemed almost pornographic to me, which, I believe, the authors sponsored, and the gifts that the lady gives to her husband, Ronaldo,” he said.
“Dude, I would ask you to be a little more modest given what people go through, that these things are shown on television is legal, but from a moral point of view, it seems pornographic to me,” he added.
The Spanish politician’s comments came after Georgina Rodriguez blew social media by posting her latest El Bicho gift, a $350,000 Rolls-Royce.
The audiovisual material has received over 6.5 million views on Instagram and over 50,000 comments. In the video, Rodriguez, in a flashy red dress, can be seen walking through the massive mansion until he reaches the garden, where he surprised the CR7 with the car they later drove. The Portuguese star’s passion for cars is well known.
Georgina Rodriguez and Cristiano Ronaldo have never hidden their millionaire life on social media. A few months ago, the Spaniard premiered a kind of reality show about her daily routine in the best Kardashian style.
