Former tennis player Navratilova diagnosed with throat and breast cancer

The legendary tennis player, 18-time Grand Slam winner Martina Navratilova has cancer. Doctors discovered she had first-degree throat and breast cancer.

“This double blow is serious, but still recoverable. I hope for a favorable outcome. It will be unpleasant for a while, but I will fight with all the strength that I have”– quotes Navratilova on the website of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
