Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev lost to Serb Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open. The meeting of the fourth and fifth rackets of the world ended in Melbourne with a score of 1:6, 2:6, 4:6.

In the course of the fight, Rublev complained about the behavior of the fans and the slow delivery of the ball by the opponent.

“The score of the match, especially in the first two sets, does not reflect the balance of power. Andrei is one of the best players on the tour”– quotes “Sport Express” Serb Djokovic. The statement was made after the victory.

Now Andrei Rubley is sixth in the ATP world rankings.

Earlier, Rublev was ahead of Daniil Medvedev and became the first racket of Russia. Medvedev has held this title for the last four years.

Recall that in the other semi-final of the tournament, Russian Karen Khachanov and Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas will meet. The fight will take place on January 27th. Khachanov reached the 1/2 finals of the Australian Open for the first time.
