Juventus and Paulo Dybala are at the center of controversy over a “prism investigation” linked to illegal financial maneuvering.

Argentine Paulo Dybalaroma player, can be fined a month of sports suspension for a private agreement between a football player and Juventus in the amount of more than three million euros.which the prosecutor’s office is investigating under the so-called A “prism investigation” related to the club’s fiscal 2020 salary maneuvers.

On Tuesday, the financial guard interrogated the Argentine for an hour and a half about his last stage at Juventus. specifically about the 3 million euros that the investigators wanted to confirm whether Juve paid him and, if so, under what concept, ‘Repubblica’ reported today.

Article 31 of the Sports Justice Code prohibits clubs fromAct or pay compensation that violates federal regulationsbut also forbids players to coordinate their collection, which, if received, will entail disqualification for at least one month, the media points out.

All studies are based on FY 2020 when due to the socio-economic situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic Juve agreed to defer payments to some players who were not included in that year’s financial year.

The black and white organization reached an agreement in March 2020 with the players for which they waived their four months’ salary. so the club’s budget didn’t suffer as much in the midst of the pandemic.

However, months later, prosecutors opened an investigation into this agreement, as it was not a salary waiver, as the Italian club had originally reported. but to defer payment for three out of four months by means of a private agreementsomething illegal that meant saving the Juventus budget.

According to the newspaper, the reason for Dybala’s statement is related to the claim for compensation made by the player’s lawyer to Juventus, after negotiations for an extension that did not take place with Vecchia Signora and this ended with him joining Roma, his current team.

Offer to indemnify pre-contractual liability more than 3 million, which Juventus included in the new budget as a reserve for risksaccording to an Italian newspaper.

This figure is similar to the wage corresponding to four player months during 2020 and that they would agree to postpone the 2021 season by private agreementin a case identical to the one also known as the “Secret Letter” of the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, a document that Juventus hid at the time and which was revealed agreement between the Turin club and the Portuguese star.

Dybala’s statement helps researchers figure out if there are other agreements made privately and without the consent of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC).

Juventus face a preliminary hearing as part of Operation Prism, which is investigating salary maneuvers and a “capital gain case” that is the cause of the 15-point sanctions in Serie A. next March 27th.
