Murat Gassiev, 29, is a former unified world heavyweight champion. He made his professional debut in 2011. In December 2016, Iron Ossetian became the IBF champion, defeating compatriot Denis Lebedev. In 2018, Gassiev knocked out Cuban boxer Yuniel Dorticos, taking away his WBA title. The Russian suffered the only defeat in July 2018, then he lost on points to the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk in the WBC final.
American Mike Balogun is 39 years old. He is ranked eighth among all US heavyweights. He has 20 victories to his credit, 16 of them he won ahead of schedule.
