“Here you need to understand that in Asia the rivals are stronger than in Europe. Now the Indians, the Chinese and other Asian countries are objectively stronger, more dangerous rivals. That is, the competition will increase. But this will make it more interesting. And this should give impetus to our athletes for further training– says the chess player.
Recall that the open voting on the entry of the Russian Chess Federation into Asia ended on February 28. Executive Director of the FSR Alexander Tkachev said that 29 states supported the transition of the organization from the Russian Federation under the “wing” of Asia. One country voted against and six others decided to abstain.
Earlier, the move of the Russian Chess Federation to Asia was supported by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
