According to police sources, the car crashed into a wooden pole with the left side of the front end and the pilot died instantly. The accident occurred on the section of the highway between Lobor and Stary Golubovac.

Craig Breen started his career as a professional racing driver in 2009 and became WRC Academy Champion in 2011 with Ford.
