“Again we paid for mistakes”: tough self-criticism in America after the departure against Chivas

Again Aguilas del America stayed at the gate to play the final Liga MX tournament. In this Clausura 2023 tournament, the elimination was more painful as it was in the hands of their eternal rival Chivas de Guadalajara.

Reports from Mexican portals very close to the Eagles indicated that several players were emotionally depressed; one of them is Leo Suarez, who even cried in the dressing room of the Azteca stadium.
