The future champion: the legless little gymnast returned to the big sport (video)

Alexandra Pascal was seriously injured and lost her leg during a rocket attack in 2022. But after wearing a modern prosthesis and rehabilitating, the little Ukrainian gymnast is back in big sport and has already won the competition.

Ukrainian little gymnast Alexandra Pascal, whose leg was amputated as a result of a severe injury, went to her first competition after the operation. This was written on the Facebook page by Daria Gerasimchuk, the President of Ukraine’s Commissioner for the Rights of the Child and Child Rehabilitation.

According to the official, on June 3, the girl received a video from her mother. Video footage shows Sasha Pascal performing a gymnastics trick in her first competition after surgery. This became possible due to the fact that the girl was fitted with a prosthesis. She was rehabilitated in Austria and returned to training in March. The girl has been doing gymnastics since she was 3 years old.

“I watched it and couldn’t believe how quickly she healed! And most importantly, how strongly motivated a 7-year-old girl must have to return to rhythmic gymnastics with a prosthetic leg so responsibly,” Gerasimchuk wrote.

He also advised Ukrainians to remember the name of Alexandra Pascal, because with such ambitions and willpower in the future she will become an Olympic champion.

Recall that on June 2, the media reported details about a girl who died in a missile attack of the Russian Armed Forces. Victoria was nine years old. The girl was engaged in judo and won the competition a week before her death.

Also, May 7 Focus He wrote about how 6-year-old Sasha Pascal lived, who was seriously injured during the bombing of the resort town of Zatoka by the Russian Armed Forces. Doctors had to amputate the girl’s limb. After the operation, Sasha spent more than two weeks in the stern.
