Nikita Dzyu became Australian boxing champion

The son of former world boxing champion Konstantin Dzyu Nikita became the champion of Australia in the weight category up to 69.9 kg. He defeated Australian boxer Dylan Biggs, 9 News reported.

The broadcaster notes that despite the fact that Dzyu was knocked down in the first round, in the second he was able to level the situation. In the fourth round, Dzyu could have become the winner ahead of schedule, but Biggs was saved by the gong. In the fifth round, he was able to win his first career title.

“I start slowly, I missed a few punches, which shook me up. (…) All this time he [Биггс] was just an obstacle, a huge roadblock in my brain. When I first started boxing, he was like a wall that I had to climb, but I just looked at it.”said Dzyu.

In total, the Australian champion has not lost a single defeat in eight fights.
