“Football players are not privileged”: OK “Zapad” reacted to the detention of the TCC player of “Khust”

An athlete who does not have a properly completed reservation may be subject to mobilization. This is how the “Western” operational command commented on the transfer of the football player of the “Khust” team, Nikolai Sirash, to the regional center (TCC and SP) for recruitment and social support. OK “West” published a statement on its Telegram page on Wednesday, May 8.

“We support Ukrainian football, but we put Ukraine’s defense first,” the command said.

Commenting on the emotional message of the Khust football team, OK “Zapad” notes that the process of making reservations and obtaining postponements of mobilization is strictly regulated.

“If an athlete does not have legal grounds and does not have a properly completed reservation, he may be subject to mobilization. At a time when hundreds of elite athletes in the ranks of the Defense Forces are heroically fighting the aggressor, sometimes at their own expense. It is, to put it mildly, a football club trying to privilege its players over other Ukrainian citizens and the football club It is strange that he puts his interests above the defense of the country,” explained OK “Zapad ”.

Let us remind you that on May 7, TCC employees picked up one of FC Khust’s players, Nikolai Sirash, who was not yet 25 years old, at the train station in the city of Khust and handed him over to the military registration and enlistment office. . The football club stated that the Ukrainian football championship was in danger of being disrupted due to the actions of the local TCC.

The Football Federation of Ukraine and 5 other football clubs of Ukraine – Krivbass, Shakhtar, Obolon, Dnepr-1, Dynamo Kiev – received critical status.
