Not yet unveiled, the new Urus was not raced, but the record time was recorded by the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb official timekeepers. Car had a V8 as standard but it has undergone some modifications to comply with Pikes Peak safety regulations. For example, the cab was equipped with a roll cage, and the standard seats were replaced with a racing seat and six-point seat belts. In addition, a fire extinguishing system was installed.
The SUV was fitted with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R evolution tires (sizes 285/40 R22 and 325/35 R22), created specifically in collaboration with Lamborghini.
