A Mexican engineer has created a robot that can turn air into drinking water

Vita Gabriele Galindo, a Mexican robotics engineer, has managed to build a machine that can turn air into drinking water.. The prototype allows ambient air to condense in such a way that it can be converted to water.

The engineer says that with its prototype can produce 35 liters of drinking water a day. He explained that The idea for the robot came about out of necessity, namely in the state of Nuevo Leon, where he lives, there is currently a serious problem with the water supply..

“The creation of this robot is connected with the problems that the state is going through, it took me a month and a half to make the robot,” he said.

He claimed that It took him a short time to build his prototype because he had previously assembled three other robots.from which he was able to learn a lesson thanks to the mistakes he made. He noted that currently You are looking for a laboratory that can carry out the necessary tests on the water in your car to be able to confirm without a doubt that it is 100% drinking water..

“There are filters built into the robot, I am looking for a laboratory to do an exam to get a certificate that the water is drinkable. It won’t solve the problem, but it might help,” he said.

He hopes that his robot will be able to help as much as possible, but he realizes that it is unlikely that this will be a solution in the medium or long term.

He pointed out that his main goal was to help his family have a water supplyespecially at a time when drought in the state is wreaking havoc across the region. What, what She would like to help more people in her community, but she doesn’t have the resources to do so..

Galindo says his prototype was made possible because a friend loaned him the money he needed to be able to buy all the parts and components he needed. For all this expects that some private company will want to invest in the project in order to be able to grow it and thus build a big team.

“I am open to every opportunity. The cost is not set as this is a prototype, this is trial and error, a friend loaned me money so I could do it. I want to help more people, I don’t have the resources to replicate this and bring it to all families,” he said.
