Small English sports car manufacturer Ariel famous for creating, among other things, the famous Atom, gave his electric supercar a try”Hypercar”. It was 2017 when this company presented a project to create an electric supercar equipped with 4 electric motors, one per wheel. A few years later, the manufacturer finally introduced this model, whose name stands for “High Performance Carbon Reduction”. .

This supercar has 800V architecture and can count on one Battery 62.2 kWh (used 56 kWh). Autonomy reaches 150 miles, that is, about 240 km in the WLTP cycle, but is doomed to a rapid decrease due to the use of the potential of electric motors. It is for this reason that a a special range extender consisting of a turbine able to go on battery power. It is not clear how much autonomy will improve, but this turbine (with a capacity of about 50 hp) will be able to rely on a 35-liter fuel tank.
This supercar, with its distinctive design and especially thoughtful aerodynamics, was designed to provide performance similar to that of endothermic supercars on the track.
