For 2022, the builder plans to build 15,000 IDs. Buzz, which, however, will not be all delivered to customers. As, in fact, Karsten Intra noted:

Of the approximately 15,000 vehicles we will build in 2022, not all of them can be delivered to customers right away. First we need to put dealers. Then the first 6,000 cars will go to car dealerships, then customer cars will arrive.

Apparently, after the IAA Transportation, the first identity cards appeared in Hannover. The Buzz will travel to dealership showrooms where they will be used as display units to demonstrate to customers. The first customers will receive their electric vans in starting from November. Intra did not say which combination of private and freight versions the German brand is referring to. Pre-orders are almost “balanced” for now, with slightly more pre-orders for the passenger version. However, it will be necessary to understand how Volkswagen intends to plan production.

According to Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles number one, 100 ID. Buzz is currently produced in Hannover per day and is expected to grow to 200 per day by the end of the year. And from 2023, the goal will be to further increase production. The end goal is to reach over 100,000 IDs. noise per year. It’s an ambitious goal, but achievable considering the electric van has yet to arrive in America and Volkswagen is aiming to bring it to other countries as well.

Finally, let me remind you that a new Volkswagen ID has appeared in Italy. Buzz in the passenger version can be ordered at starting price in the amount of 66,000 euros. The Cargo model, on the other hand, starts at €47,000 plus VAT. All versions currently have a 150 kW electric motor powered by a 77 kWh battery (in use).
