Porsche expanded the range of its 911 sports car with the introduction of the new 911 Carrera T. The T stands for “Touring” and stands for the German brand’s models that aim to offer an “emotional” driving experience.
The T in the Porsche 911 Carrera T designation stands for “Touring” and comes from the 911 T’s homologation as a touring car in 1968. This first 911 T was sold until 1973. In 2017, Porsche announced this purist version of the 911 was brought to life with the 911 Carrera T of the 991 generation. Since then, this simplified but especially sporty concept has been successfully transferred to other model lines with the 718 Cayman T, 718 Boxster T and Macan T.
The new Porsche 911 Carrera T received recognition for some special aesthetic details including dark gray accents. Contrasting elements such as upper and lower exterior mirror housings, new door lettering, rear lettering and boot lid grille trims are finished in agate grey. The equipment also includes high-gloss black tailpipes.

The German brand’s new sports car sits somewhere between the 911 Carrera and the 911 Carrera S. The engine is a 3-litre, 6-cylinder, twin-turbocharged flat 283 kW (385 hp) with 450 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a seven-speed manual transmission. An eight-speed PDK gearbox is available as an option.
Speaking of performance, maximum speed reaches 291 km/hand for acceleration 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.5 seconds. Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with self-locking rear differential is standard on the manual Carrera S.
