This particular version is based on the extended wheelbase EQT, which will debut later. Equipment Marco Polo Concept EQT includes a retractable roof with a bed (1.97 m by 0.97 m). In the back there is an additional sleeping area measuring 2 meters by 1.15 meters. Directly in the second row of seats, behind the driver’s seat, there is an element with a built-in washer system and a 16-liter compressor cooler.
There’s also an induction hob and drawer with gas hob, so you have two cooking options. On the right side of the cabin is a folding table. All cab furniture can be easily removed by two people in less than 5 minutes. This means that the Concept EQT Marco Polo can also be used as an everyday car. The concept could also have solar panels on the roof that feed the battery, allowing them to be energy independent for a while without having to use the energy present in the traction battery.
Mercedes will also make available what it calls Marco Polo modulekit that will allow you to turn your EQT into a small motorhome with basic equipment.
