Stellantis unveiled several new products at CES 2023, including the Peugeot Inception concept. The automotive group also took advantage of the Las Vegas fair to announce the birth of Mobilisights. It is an independent business unit entirely dedicated to expanding the Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) business, developing and licensing B2B products, applications and services.
The products offered by Mobilisights will focus on a wide range of realities, including private companies, public service companies, educational and research institutions. All this with the aim of facilitating data-driven decision making and enabling the development of a wide range of applications and services.
With data from the 34 million connected cars that Stellantis plans to put on the road by the end of the decade, Mobilisights enjoys access and exclusive rights to license data from vehicles all Stellantis brands to external customers.
Of course, Mobilisights and its partners will act in accordance with one extremely strict privacy and data management policy, which includes the use of anonymous and aggregated data and the sharing of personal data of customers only with their consent and for specific services of their choice. Customers can also withdraw their consent to the collection, use and sharing of data even after they initially provided it. Sanjeev GhatCEO of Mobilisights, commented:
