UAVs should receive technologies for tracking and attacking Russian equipment by radio emission.
In Ukraine, they plan to establish a factory for the production of autonomous shock drones. The founder of the A.Drones project and Ukrainian soldier Yuriy Kasyanov announced this on his Facebook page.
According to him, the new enterprise needs a large area, a building with strong walls, a reliable basement, an uninterrupted power supply and heat supply system. The facility is expected to be operational within three months, and then produce hundreds, if not thousands, of drones per month.
Yuri Kasyanov commissions experts on the project to develop a radar that will allow drones to independently find and attack “radio-contrast targets” and a direction finder to destroy Russian electronic warfare stations and radars. It seems that the team will build an autonomous UAV that can destroy equipment in the deep rear of the Russian troops without the participation of an operator.
“We are ready to receive it as a gift, to buy such developments or to finance their creation,” said Yury Kasyanov.
He also posted an old video from the summer. It depicts an unidentified square-wing aircraft-type drone launched into the sky by a catapult.
Earlier, Yuri Kasyanov talked about what drones the Armed Forces of Ukraine needed to destroy Russian equipment in the rear. According to him, air defense systems, radars, missile launchers, etc. Small but accurate and inconspicuous kamikaze drones that can hit must be produced in large quantities.
In December, Yuriy Kasyanov criticized Ukroboronprom’s kamikaze drone. He suggested that the mysterious aircraft with a heavy warhead would be too expensive and would not justify the cost.
