Xpeng announced the arrival of two new electric models on the European market. As expected, they will officially debut SUV G9 and one updated version of the P7 sedan. These cars can already be ordered in Denmark, Norway, Holland and Sweden. Speaking of pricing, based on the Dutch market, the Xpeng G9 model starts at €57,990 and the new P7 sedan starts at €49,990.
Deliveries of the refreshed P7 will begin in June, while those of the G9 will begin in September.
SUV measures Length 4891 mm, width 1937 mm, height 1680 mm, wheelbase 2998 mm. Trunk volume is 660 liters, and with the rear seats folded down, it increases to 1576 liters. This model is offered in 3 versions: RWD Standard Range, RWD Long Range and AWD Performance.
Rear-wheel drive versions can rely on a single 230 kW electric motor with 430 Nm of torque. Top speed is 200 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.4 seconds. In the standard range we find a 78.2 kWh LFP battery that provides a range of up to 460 km (WLTP). Thanks to the 800 V architecture, DC recharging is possible up to a peak power of 260 kW. In alternating current, on the contrary, up to 11 kW. On the other hand, in the long range there is a 98 kWh NCM battery capable of allowing range up to 570 km (VLTP). With this battery, it will be possible to replenish with energy in direct current up to one maximum power 300 kW.
Then we have the AWD Performance version with two electric motors and all-wheel drive. In this case, 405 kW is available with a torque of 717 Nm. The top speed is still 200 km/h, but acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.9 seconds. We still find a 98 kWh battery for a maximum range of up to 520 km (WLTP).
Xpeng P9 also has a lot of technology on board as well as an advanced system. Driving assistance XPILOT which can count on 29 sensors including millimeter wave radar, ultrasonic sensors and cameras. The SUV supports OTA updates.
The new version of the Xpeng P7 introduces minor changes in the equipment, as well as, above all, in the transmission. Its dimensions are 4888 mm long, 1896 mm wide and 1450 mm high with a wheelbase of 2998 mm. The trunk has a volume of 440 liters. The electric sedan is offered in 2 versions: RWD Long Range and AWD Performance. To them is added Special Wing Edition.
The rear-wheel drive Long Range can rely on a single 203kW electric motor with 440Nm of torque. Top speed reaches 200 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.7 seconds. All of this is powered by an 82.7 kWh (usable) NCM battery that provides a range (WLTP) of up to 576 km. At direct current, the battery can be charged up to a maximum power of 175 kW. In alternating current up to 11 kW.
The AWD Performance and Wing Edition models are equipped with a 348 kW twin electric motor with a maximum torque of 757 Nm. Top speed is 200 km/h and 4.1 seconds to reach 100 km/h from standstill. The battery does not change, but the range drops to 505 km (WLTP).
The Xpeng P7 is also equipped with an improved XPILOT system and OTA updates.
