The study was conducted among 17 schools randomly distributed into three groups. Researchers analyzed rates of depression and anxiety, as well as reductions in the prevalence of psychotic experiences in children and adolescents.
One of the interventions tested, consisting of universal screening and selective intervention, was found to reduce and prevent psychotic experiences during the 12-month follow-up.
