The Mini 2 SE has gained more range and flight time compared to its predecessor.
A major Chinese manufacturer DJI is launching a new quadcopter Mini 2 SE with improved features. The features of the model became known with the Engadget publication.
The Mini 2 SE received the advanced OcuSync 2.0 communication system, which increases the flight range to 10 km – 2.5 times more than the previous Mini SE model with the Advanced WiFi system limited to 4 km. The new technology also provides more stable video transmission over longer distances.
The Mini 2 SE’s battery life lasts for 31 minutes, just one minute longer than the previous model. Other than that, the new model is almost identical to the time-tested Mini 2, for example the same weight (249 g) and a similar camera system. The Mini 2 SE includes a 1/2.3-inch CMOS 3-axis gimbal that lets you shoot 12-megapixel photos and 2.7K resolution video.
DJI promises to launch the novelty in March 2023 with a price tag of $369. The manufacturer will also offer the Fly More Combo for $519, which includes the Mini 2 SE drone, extra batteries, spare propellers and a carrying case.
Earlier, they wrote that DJI drones are the most popular in the service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They allow the Ukrainian army to conduct reconnaissance and bombardment by throwing grenades at the heads of the invaders.
Volunteer Oleksandr Karpyuk said last week that the war in Ukraine is now predominantly used by DJI’s Mavic and Matrice drones. At the same time, dozens of planes soar into the sky, performing various tasks. At the same time, it is almost impossible to use aircraft type UAVs due to weather conditions.
