The Russian army suffers significant losses due to the successful work of Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance and the accuracy of kamikaze drone operators.
Using the Warmate kamikaze drone, Ukrainian border guards successfully eliminated a large group of Russian army in the occupied area. The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine posted a video of the operation on YouTube.
Judging by the video, the attack took place somewhere in the south of Ukraine. Fearing a nearby explosion, the nine invaders rushed from one large house to another building. The border guards, watching what was going on with the help of a reconnaissance plane, threw Warmate at them. The crash itself was not shown in the video, but the consequences of the impact were shown: a large-scale fire and the roof of the house were broken.
“The work of the master – and minus nine invaders,” said the press service. – “Border guards, together with other units of the Defense Forces, using airborne reconnaissance units, destroy the invaders and inflict tangible losses on them.”
The Warmate is a Polish idle ammunition manufactured by WB Electronics that explodes when it hits objects. It received an aircraft-type fuselage, an electric motor and an optical system, followed by destruction, to search for light armored vehicles, air defense systems, electronic warfare and reconnaissance equipment. The drone is quite light, it only takes 10 minutes to prepare.
Features of the Warmate unmanned aerial vehicle:
- Flight range: up to 30 km;
- Flight time: 70 min.;
- Top speed: 150 km/h;
- Maximum flight altitude: 500 m;
- Maximum take-off weight: 4 kg;
- Warhead: up to 800 g;
- Management: automatic, possible to cancel strike by operator
In September, it was learned that the Ukrainian government purchased 40 Warmate attack aircraft for the Ukrainian Armed Forces as part of the Drone Army project. The Ukrainians who donated their money were able to write their messages on them.
In December, they wrote about how the Ukrainian Armed Forces used Polish Warmate kamikaze drones against the Russian Armed Forces. They not only destroy enemy targets, but also perform many other tasks.
