Software Development plays an increasingly important role in car manufacturers. Software is one of the most important pillars of Stellantis’ Dare Forward 2030 plan. It is for this reason that the automotive group has announced its intention to increase its software development and engineering capabilities. opening of a new hub in Poland.
The new Polish software development center will be able to count on up to 300 employees who will be involved in data analysis, software development and validation. The structure will made in Gliwice, next to the Stellantis manufacturing plant. What exactly will this new hub do? According to reports, the team will primarily focus on core software and software application development, DevOps, and automated verification.
Stellantis is currently partnering with digital engineering services provider GlobalLogic to recruit staff. The Polish team will contribute to the global software development network, a key element for Stellantis. in the creation of “software-defined” vehicles are able to offer customer-focused features throughout the life of the vehicle, including upgrades and features that will be added years after the vehicle’s release.
