Ukrainian drone UJ-22 Airborne tried to blow up a Gazprom plant near Moscow, – media

According to journalists, the wreckage of the UAV indicates that this is the Ukrainian UJ-22 Airborne. Impact aircraft can fly 800 km with a payload of up to 20 kg.

Journalists described the February 28 explosions in the Kolomensky district of the Moscow region as a rare attempted attack hundreds of kilometers from Russian positions. Probably, the target of the drone attack was the Gazprom plant, next to which parts of the device were located. Reported by The Guardian.

Judging by the wreckage, this is a Ukrainian UJ-22 Airborne UAV manufactured by Ukrjet, which claims that the attack aircraft can fly 800 km with a payload of up to 20 kg.

Representatives of the Russian state-owned company said that the drone landed 10 meters from the fence of the Gazprom compression station.

According to journalists, of all the recent drone attacks in the Russian Federation, at least one UAV hit the target – the oil depot of the Rosneft company in Tuapse (Krasnodar Territory). The city is about 500 km from the Ukrainian border.

After the leaders of the Russian districts approved the airstrikes, St. Petersburg was closed. But the Russian government said it was done as part of an exercise to detect drones.

Dozens of flights were canceled and flights and landings at Pulkovo Airport were banned.

Recall that a complete video of the UAV approaching the Russian AWACS A-50 aircraft appeared on the Web. The drone, which freely entered the airspace and landed on the radar antenna, was reflected in the security cameras.

Previously Focus reported that unmanned aerial vehicles destroyed 6 tanks of the RF Armed Forces in one night. Two groups of SBU special forces showed high accuracy when throwing grenades at the military equipment of the Russian Federation.
