German company Lesser Evil Games has launched a fundraising event for the game Death From Above on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform. The developers are known for working on hit games like Spec Ops: The Line, Dead Island 2, and Anno 1800. Focus reveals the details of the game project.
What is Death from Above about?
Death From Above is dedicated to the war between Russia and Ukraine. It is noteworthy that a team of developers from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Poland, Finland, Germany and Portugal accurately marked the beginning of Russian aggression not only from February 24, 2022 after the open major offensive, but from 2014 after the invasion of Crimea. In the single-player campaign, you will complete various missions in different parts of the world: from Africa to North Korea and of course on the territory of Ukraine. In Death From Above you will be able to choose between different types of drones, such as quadcopters, helicopters or airplanes. Each UAV has its own characteristics, advantages and disadvantages. You can also upgrade your drones with different modules and weapons.
The developers state that “Death from Heaven” will have realistic physics and drones will take damage from enemy fire or abrasion. When flying your drone, you should consider speed, altitude, fuel and ballistics, as well as the operator’s signal strength.
