SBU drones blew up 11 Russian tanks and armored personnel carriers in one night (video)

Unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with thermal cameras allow Ukrainian special forces to track and attack Russians even in the dark.

On the night of March 18, operators of the Special Operations Center “A” struck 11 Russian installations in the direction of Donetsk. The Ukrainian Security Service posted a video of the operation on its Facebook page.

The White Wolves special forces group hunted down enemy vehicles using drones equipped with thermal cameras and armed with cumulative grenades. Thanks to their high accuracy, they managed to hit 10 tanks of the RF Armed Forces, and an armored personnel carrier was a bonus.

Special forces managed to catch all attacks on drone cameras. In the video you can see that the drop of ammunition was accompanied by powerful explosions. It is not known what condition the Russian armored vehicles and their crews were left in after the attacks, but the SBU assures that the tanks and armored personnel carriers are out of order.

Special Operations Center “A” regularly organizes night sorties and gets better results each time. For example, on the night of March 2, SBU unmanned aerial vehicles destroyed 6 tanks of the RF Armed Forces. On the night of March 4, the number of equipment hit by UAVs increased to 8.

Meanwhile, the 72nd Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces uses drones to destroy Russian tanks on the front lines. Recently, they showed how they bombarded enemy combat vehicles with various types of grenades, and one of them hit the open hatch directly, causing a fire that completely disabled the equipment.

In addition to tanks and armored personnel carriers, Ukrainian UAVs struck surveillance complexes of the RF Armed Forces called “Murom”. One of them was blown up at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station using the FPV aircraft Falcon Avanger. As described in the Stugna battalion, such equipment monitors the movements of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and interferes with offensive operations.
